in this video i give a bit of an update on what i'm doing leading up to my album release on june the 27th.
one big piece of news is i'm leaving streaming services in favor of a fully independent model despite pressures from today's consumer culture.
i don't want my art to succumb to algorithms and billionaire's whims, so i'm deciding to focus on making physical copies of my music and keeping it always free to download on bandcamp.
i'm making cds + cassettes too! not for consumption but for moving people and becoming a part of their lives.
